SLAT Exam Overview

The Symbiosis Law Admission Test, commonly known as SLAT, is a national-level entrance examination conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to its undergraduate law programmes.

Through this exam, students can apply for five-year integrated law programmes such as BA LL.B. and BBA LL.B. offered by various Symbiosis law schools.

After clearing the SLAT written test, shortlisted candidates are required to appear for a Personal Interaction (PI) round, which forms part of the final admission process.

Each year thousands of students appear for the SLAT exam to secure admission to reputed institutions such as Symbiosis Law School Pune, Symbiosis Law School Noida, Symbiosis Law School Hyderabad, and Symbiosis Law School Nagpur.

SLAT UG Eligibility Criteria
To apply for undergraduate law programmes through SLAT, candidates must meet the following requirements.

Educational Qualification:
A candidate must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.

Minimum Marks Required

General Category
Minimum 45 per cent marks in Class 12
SC / ST: Minimum 40 per cent marks in Class 12

Students appearing for their Class 12 board examinations in the same year are also eligible to apply, provided they produce proof of qualification at the time of admission.

Age Limit
There is no upper age limit for appearing in the SLAT exam.
